So many little stories to share and remember....
I think this little guy is just changing by the day!
After our company all went home, we got a DATE NIGHT! Hooray! The 3 of us snuggled up in the tiny little hospital bed, ate some Chipotle, and watched a movie. It was a great night together!
Micah was as content as could be just chillin with Mommy and Daddy!

Every once in a while Micah opens his peepers but normally closes them again with the camera flash. I caught one with them open!

Oh, I miss my Ikey bear but love this picure anyhow. Come to find out, Isaac hasn't been running a temp just from his shots on Monday but actually has Roseola. Boo. He's got a rash all over his tummy and is just not himself right now. He was VERY happy to get some time with Daddy out in the car, though. I'm hoping this passes quickly and he is on the mend by the time we get home! This mama's heart just breaks to not have all 3 of my fellas here together.
My cousin Danny and his sweet girlfriend, Katie made a trip up to the hospital tonight to meet Micah!

Mimi and Poppy are staying at our house with Wyatt and Isaac while we're in the hospital. I guess Mimi had suggested getting a balloon for Micah while she and Wyatt were having breakfast this morning. So when Mimi and Wy guy walking into the hospital, he would not let her forget to stop at the gift shop so he could pick out a balloon for Micah AND flowers for Mommy. Love his sweet heart!
First greeting! It was so precious. Wyatt was beyond excited when he saw Micah in Daddy's arms. I'm so sad Isaac is not in these pictures but he has been running a temp the past couple of days so we figured we had better play it safe and save his introduction for another day. :( 
Wyatt got very serious and really studied the new baby in his arms. It will always be one of my fondest memories in life, for sure!
Micah gave Wyatt a Happy Birthday chocolate covered sucker! Every time Wyatt would look at his lil bro the rest of the day he'd say, "Thank you, Micah, for my sucker. That was really nice of you!" So cute.
Mimi and Poppy were next in line to meet their new grandbaby... Micah is grandson #4 and grandbaby #5 on my side of the family!
Cousins Ashtyn and Daxton were not far behind in making their way to the hospital to meet their new cousin. Wyatt was thrilled to get to share the experience and introduce them to Micah! They brought us another balloon and a really fun bucket full of treats and goodies to nibble on during our hosptial stay!

Uncle Jay and Aunt Gigi drove all the way from Springfiled, MO during their 24 hours off from work together just to meet their newest nephew on his actualy birth day! Aunt Gigi is such a natural with babies! : ) Micah was feeling pretty content in her arms!
And finally a picture of Uncle JAY holding Micah JAY! So glad our lil fella got to meet his uncle who he was named after on his very first day of life!
I think Dr. Heit picked the right day for delivery because I was apparently having contractions every 5 minutes although I wasn't feeling any pain. Our lil fella was defintiely ready for arrival!
Dr. Heit is known for being right on time and today was no different. I headed into the OR at 8:05am for my spinal, ten minutes later Dr. Heit came into the room for delivery and Joe was right by my side! Not long now... 
This was smoothest and most peaceful c-section I've had. Everything went perfectly! It was almost like the doc, anesthesiologist, nurses, and Joe were all just sitting around having coffee! They were all just chatting away and it seemed like everyone in the room had forgotten that surgery was underway... everyone except me, that is! But soon enough was the moment I'd been waiting for when Dr. Heit said, "Joe, you've got to stand up for this. You don't want to miss it!" And then he pulled out our new baby boy. I remember everyone saying "He's a big boy!" and "He's got lots of dark hair!" and "He's so cute!" Our lil fella (still to be named at this point!) had made his grand debut at 8:40am, weighing in at 8lbs 9oz and 19.5 inches long! It was a very JOYOUS moment! 
Look at this head full of DARK HAIR! Maybe we'll have a lil brunette? I love it!

Micah was SO content even in the operating room. He gave us just enough noise so we knew he was strong and healthy then he settled into Daddy's arms and was happy as could be!
I finally got to meet my new baby boy! The tears were flowing and my heart was full!
