Wyatt's Turn!

My little man is just a couple of weeks away from turning TWO!!!! We're working on holding up 2 fingers but the bunny ears are hard for a little boys fingers to maneuver!!!

Proudly sporting his '1' shirt one last time. Soon he'll be one no longer. : (

Joe thinks this pic is hilarious. It's a boy-thing. Tackeling Daddy Wyatt had to try on Daddy's "fireman boots" but once he was in them he was completly stuck because they were so heavy!!!
The boys!
Wyatt's new thing is taking his own pictures... this is one of them!
Wyatt is in such a fun stage right now and I'm enjoying him more than ever! But he's also in a season that requires full-time training and correction which is an all-day endeavor! God is teaching me lots of lessons and refining my heart as I attempt to train and correct Wy guy... I'm humbled and often brought to my knees with conviction in my own heart, like when I'm telling Wyatt that God wants him to be PATIENT and self-controlled and I'm speaking to him with a completely impatient tone of voice!! : / Conviction... Ouch! And I've even had to ask for Wy's forgiveness already. I don't think he quite comprehends what he's agreeing to but he always gives Mommy a hug, so I think he's understanding more than I give him credit for!

Walkin' in Daddy's Shoes!

Wyatt was determined to try on Daddy's "fire boots" but couldn't seem to get his feet off the ground once he got them on! Hope this clip makes you smile!

6-week Update!

Our happy little man is now 6-weeks-old !!!!
Ike is such a CUDDLER... Doesn't he look so snuggly here? Big yawn and bright eyes! Wyatt can hardly resist give lil bro a kiss when he's anywhere within reach. It is so sweet! This is Isaac's famous "O" face right before he goes poo-poo And this is Wyatt mimicking the "O" face!!!!
Joe was gone 3 days last week, home for a night, and on the road again this whole week. Wow! It was quite a transition from having him home full-time for 5 weeks to away full-time for almost 10 days. It sure made me appreciate my hubby and his partnership even more.
This week was CRAZY but fun and we survived!!!! Isaac had one 24-hour crying spell... and it was literally a whole 24-hours. Yikes. The Lord continued to give me small splahes of grace at just the right moments during my days. He infused strength and patience when I felt like I was all out!!! Fortunately, Isaac was back to his content little self on Tuesday and I was ever so grateful! And Wyatt was a trooper, being mr. independent for most of the day while his lil brother cried and cried and cried....
