Our own Playground!

With having 3 boys in our house, we decided that a playground in the backyard would play a vital role in keeping our sanity during the warm months of the year! Someone gave us the bright idea to look for one on Craigslist. Since the Rainbow playgrounds retail for over $4500 we decided that a used one would be a much better fit for our budget! Well, we found one in good condition for a fraction of the price. Perfect, we thought! BUT it ended up being a ton of WORK! Joe, Papa and Poppy spent all Friday morning disassembling the playground from another family's yard a couple of weekends ago. Then Joe, Papa, and Wy guy began the long process of putting all of those 2x4's back together one piece at a time in our back yard...

Well, putting it all back together took a little more time than we had anticipated! And someone had a birthday party on Saturday, so the work had to come to a hault! Luckily, Papa graciously made another road trip this past weekend all the way from Iowa to help complete the project!!!!

Wyatt made sure to take some time to refuel in the middle of the morning from all of his hard work!

The guys worked from about 8am -6pm on Saturday and finally got the "Huckleberry" Playset all complete! It's PERFECT for 3 little adventerous boys and I know all of the hard work will pay off this summer. We've spent MANY hours outside the past couple of days and I know there will be so many fun memories in the years to come!
