Family Fun!

The past few days were full of family and fun memories...

Thursday we visited a darling little book store called the Reading Reptile with cousins Ashtyn and Daxton. The kids had so much fun picking out and gobbling down a storybook character cupcake...

Riding an old-time 10 cent/ride horse... and participating in storytime and one very MESSY art project!

Then on Friday night we went to the Sylvester Powell Free Family Fun Night with Mimi, Auntie B and cousin Dax! They had open pool and open gym for 3 hours and we stayed the whole time! I didn't get near enough pictures in the pool because my camera kept fogging over, but the boys loved the water!!!! Daddy got a little overwhelmed trying to keep track of these two fish in the sea, so somebody had to get out. That somebody was not so happy...

But Isaac was a-ok once Mimi and I took him into the gym for some playtime! He played hard and was completely pooped by 8pm when everything shut down (also an hour past bedtime for Ike man!). He got to shoot some hoops, run around like crazy, and...

Then on Sunday we drove to Manhattan, KS to see Uncle Joel, Aunt Jen, Ellie and Alexa. It was a gorgeous day so we spent plenty of time outdoors on the play set....

and I got lots of time holding Alexa. Wow! She's as light as a feather compared to my Isaac! : ) She just watched the kids play and didn't ask to get down even once. She is just so sweet and snuggly and extremely layed back--totally opposite of my boys! It was fun to get a little girl-time!
