A Week Apart!

Joe and I decided to get away to celebrate our 5th anniversary... So we drove to KC to drop off our little man and then we flew out to Ft. Lauderdale for a few days of RnR on the beach! It was hard to leave our favorite one-year-old but we knew he was in great hands with Mimi, Poppy, Aunt Brianna, Uncle T-dog, and his cousins!!!!! As you can see, Wyatt got lots of attention the entire week! We all had a wonderful vacation....

Joe and I had a fantastic time on the beach. It was so relaxing and refreshing to get some down-time together!

Our Little Man Isn't So Little....

Our little man is getting so BIG!!!! He is just a week away from turning ONE...Where did the year go? Wyatt is quite the character these days. : ) We just love him to pieces. He took his first 2 steps last Saturday and has been taking 4 or 5 steps here and there all week. He's probably going to be walking with confidence by the time Joe and I get back to FL, after spending a week with his cousins! : ) Shhhh...they've promised not to tell me while I'm gone!

Pigtails and Crewcuts...

We made a trip to the "Barber Shop" today...Wy man got his first professional haircut at the cutest little spot called "Pigtails and Crewcuts". The sweet gal did a very fine job cutting our little wiggle worm's hair (I would have a throbbing headache by the end of the day if I had her job)!!!! Wyatt wanted to turn around and see what in the world was buzzing on the back of his head! ; ) He was not so crazy about the whole haircut experience but sure loved all of the TVs and toys he got to play with afterwards!

Puppy Love!

Wyatt and Gabbi are such good playmates...The two of them are practically inseparable these days and they tease each other all day long! It is so cute to watch Wyatt's face light up when he sees his puppy dog!

Wyatt is constantly making us LAUGH...His great big giggles from way down in his belly are music to Mommy's ears.  The sound of Wy's laughter has to be my most favorite noise in the whole wide world!

Our Love Bug is Almost One...

Yep, our little heart breaker is 11-months-old today! Wyatt will be our big one-year-old in March. It has been a fabulous 11 months! It's gone by so fast of course, but we actually wouldn't want the time to slow down any...We're loving every minute of the adventure with Wyatt and every stage seems to bring us even more JOY and LAUGHTER than the previous!!!!

We have some really sweet friends who offered to watch Wyatt while Joe and I went out on a date! It was fabulous to get to go to dinner, just the 2 of us, and carry on a conversation without any interruptions (although we love our lil chatterbox to be with us most of the time!). We had a great day together celebrating God's greatest gift of love through His Son, and the love He's given us as a family!!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fun Facts about our 11-Month Old: WYATT...

• says "Dada" and "Mama"
• loves blueberries
• loves Gabbi, balls, dancing and music, car rides, drumsticks.
• dislikes anything from a jar that's green, nap time, the word "NO" : /
• is standing alone and climbing the stairs now!
