Three Weeks with Micah!

Here's our lil Micah Jay at 3 weeks!

Micah still sleeps most of the day but when he is awake, he is really AWAKE and bright eyed and alert to everything going on around him!

He has found his thumb! He did this a few times in the hospital, then we covered his hands so he wouldn't scratch himself. But now that the mittens are off, he's defintiely a thumb sucker! I LOVE to watch him sleep... He makes the cutest lil grimaces... and sweet smiles! Lil buddy got his first BOTTLE this week and loved it! I think he chugged the entire 4oz in about 5 minutes. He had to stop for one little burp break!

Fun Facts about our 3-week-old:

MICAH...

-Loves to hold your fingers. It is so sweet! -is really starting to respond to our voices and make sweet faces (not quite a smile, but almost!) when we talk to him!

-very rarely cries... he GRUNTS instead! If he's hungry or poopy or gassy, he just grunts. If you wait too long then he'll make some serious noise, but he gives you quite a bit of warning. He is so PATIENT! -eats so FAST that he chokes and gets milk in his nose... then he snorts like a little piggy until he finally sneezes it out! : )

-always has the hiccups. He's got his own little routine after he eats... first he burps, then he toots and normally has a huge diaper, then lastly he ends with the hiccups!
