It's Beginning to Look Like CHRISTMAS!

We got our first snow of the season today and it was absolutely dreamy! The trees and snow capped roof tops were quite a site to see! We went for a wintry drive along the Potomac River to take full advantage of all of the beautiful scenery....

Wyatt loved "helping" daddy scoop the snow

Our Favorite Words...

Wyatt has learned the "magic word" and uses it often! : ) Wy's 2 favorite words!

Tis the Season

We are gearing up for CHRISTMAS in the McCulley household (although 60 degree weather doesn't exactly feel like Christmas time. But we'll take it!) Wyatt loves to be outdoors so we're soaking up the season on our new deck and in our back yard! Joe got Wyatt ready for church on Sunday and coordinated their outfits so cute--Mommy was impressed! : )

Happy Thanksgiving!

We've sure got a lot to be THANKFUL for this year!
Jojo and Wy guy started off the day with some fruit parfaits. Yummy!
Wyatt had fun treating the balloon as a punching bag!
Wyatt and I finishing the icing for our pumpkin cake.
Wyatt had to have a taste test! We got to spend the day with our MD family which was such a blessing. Wyatt loved cousin Emma's riding horse... What he doesn't realize is that they actually own 3 live horses in their back yard... He's gonna be so excited to meet them next time!Helping Daddy get the tree up!

How much longer?

I think Wyatt is wondering when this mysterious baby is ever going to arrive. He loves his brother already and always wants to kiss my belly button or "baby"!!!! We got a sneak peak of our little fella last week and got some darling pictures that I'll try to post soon. We've got less than 6 weeks to go before his debut...
Wy guy sporting his big bro shirt in honor of 'ultrasound day' of baby brother.
34 weeks and counting... Can my belly stretch anymore? Little buddy was estimated to be 4.5 lbs so I'm guessing we've still got some more growing to do....

Celebrating 20-Months in Maryland!

It has been quite a week... Daddy flew in to KC on Fri 11/6, we drove to IA on Sat and spent an evening with Grandma and Grandpa, drove on to IN on Sunday and the movers came to load up our house on Monday. It took 3 full days and an entire semi to load us up but we were finally ready to be Maryland bound by Wed night. We made one last visit through every empty room on Phillips Road to say bye-bye then headed out on our adventure. We arrived to our new home on Thurs evening 11/12 and were surprised that the gas had been shut off. So the first 4 days were a little bit rough without hot water or heat and Daddy having to leave town. But we made some new friends rather quickly who let us come take warm showers in their house! It has been a whirlwind but very fun meeting new neighbors and exploring my new house. I have to admit that it has also been very overwhelming trying to sort ourselves through the loads of boxes!
Taking a TV break with Daddy from all of the hard work of packing up our house in Indiana
Mr. muscles helping load up
Wyatt loves trucks so he was in heaven to have his own semi parked at his house for 3 days. The movers were so good to him and let him take several tours within!
An overnight stay in a hotel and a quick dunk in the pool during our trip to Maryland
We've been doing lots of shopping and errand running since we've been in our new house! We try to make all of the excursion fun in some way! : )

Wy's crazy habit of looking for sock fuzz in between his toes!
The view from Wyatt's bedroom window... He loves to watch the geese!

Fun Facts about our 20-month-old WYATT:
  • now says "Daddy" instead of Dada and "Gabbi" instead of Gabs
  • has learned the word "pease" which is beautiful music to Mommy's ears and an irresistible sound that gets Wy just about anything he want these days!
  • has a crazy habit of searching for sock fuzz in between his toes. : )
  • now says "money"... All of the ladies get a kick out of this when we're out shopping.
  • has learned to say his own name. It is so cute to hear him say "Wyatt" very proudly
  • loves mints... Have I mentioned this one before? I find this a rather unique flavor for a one-year-old to crave!
  • says chicken and pig
  • calls all buttons a "But" which is rather humorous to Daddy!
  • Misses 'his' horses in Indiana but has found several new favorite past-times in his new house including watching the geese from his bedroom window in the pond across the street, and watching the school buses pass by each morning and afternoon since we live on the same street as the elementary school!

Arrival Time!

19 days was way too long to be apart from my dad but Mommy and I made the best of it and the time passed rather quickly. I was a very good boy the whole 3 weeks for my mom. I even learned what number to press on Mommy's phone so I could talk to Daddy anytime during the day. Daddy didn't lose any favor in my eyes while away but I think Mommy gained a little... I'm not quite so partial anymore! : ) I was so excited to pick Daddy up from the airport, but due to a flight delay, I just couldn't keep my peepers open in the car. Mom made sure to wake me up for the landing though and then I didn't go to bed until after 11pm because Dad and I had lots of catching up to do!
