Chug-a Chug-a TWO TWO!!!!!

He did it! He turned TWO on me. Despite my constant pleading, time refuses to hold still! So my baby boy is now a little boy who continues to completely capture our hearts with his sweet affections and constant entertainment! Since the time Wyatt was born, I said he'd be my baby until he turned 2... Well, there's officially nothing baby-ish about him anymore... I can defintilely now call him my 'little man'.

Wyatt got to go to BounceU the day before his birthday. The neighborhood planned this party, which Wyatt thought was all for him. It was definitley the cheapest Bday party I'll probably ever get away with. He had a blast!

They even 'celebrated' with cake so Wyatt really thought it was a Bday party in honor of his 2nd birthday!

Wyatt transitioned to his toddler bed about a month ago and is now in his true, BIG big boy bed. So now Isaac had a crib and everyone is in their own rooms!

I included this photo b/c I think Wyatt has the cutest feet in the whole wide world. We call them the "Bam Bam" feet! : )

Wyatt still loves taking his own pictures and does a really good job at that! Here's a pic Wy took of his stacking blocks with Sir Tophem (now in comptetion with Noah for Wy's favorite character! ) on top!

Fun Facts about our Two-Year-Old:

WYATT...

• has such an IMAGINATION... I love to hear him tell stories!
• Is obsessed with SIR TOPHAM Hatt.... He's moving right up there with Noah!
• loves the FIDDLE! There's a commercial that we watch over and over of a man playing a fiddle.
• loves SALAD... Do most 2-yr-olds like salad? I thought is was an acquired taste! : )
• says the sweetest PRAYERS!
• loves to sing, "JESUS...JESUS...JESUS.........." This is the only part of 'Jesus loves me' that he can remember put it is so precious to hear him belt it out!
• must look for DEER every single night out of his bedroom window. We can normally spot at least one... I find myself praying for the deer to come out so we can go to sleep peacefully!
• Counts to 10, skipping over 3 and 4! : )
• thinks SNAKES are really cool. Yuck!
• favorite words to hear him say.... Focus (he hears this one alot, I guess!), sunshine, happy, smoke!
• tells me when he's HAPPY! and it completely makes everything else in the world disappear... Oh, the sweet faith of a child! : )
• gets the 's' and 'c' turned around, pronouncing Isaac as Icaas, which sound like I-kiss!
• is teaching me new things each and every day. I just love this little boy to pieces!!!!!!!

FUN FACTS ABOUT OUR 2-MONTH-OLD:

ISAAC...

• SMILES almost all day long!
• loves the SUNSHINE... He loves to rest by a window or, better yet, go outside and soak up the warm rays!
• loves to be a part of whatever we're doing... so his bouncer gets moved from room to room throughout the day so he can be with us and hear our voices!
• enjoys tummy-time. He gets a little too comfortable in this position!
• loves a WARM bath
• is very TALL. No one believes me when I say he's only 2-months-old. He's fitting very well into his 6-month wardrobe.
• has the cutest litte voice... He makes the sweetest coos!
• is becoming and AWESOME SLEEPER, waking once or sometimes sleeping all the way until 6am!!!!
• Makes lots of noises that we all find quite entertaining including his grunts, toot toots and explosive poo poos... They might not be so funny when he's 5 and we're sitting in a restaurant, but they sure do make us laugh right now.
• Life is finally feeling back to 'normal'. We've settled into life as a fam of 4 and are developing a routine together and making lots of fun memories each day. It's hard to remember life prior to our little Isaac Owen...

Wyatt's Turn!

My little man is just a couple of weeks away from turning TWO!!!! We're working on holding up 2 fingers but the bunny ears are hard for a little boys fingers to maneuver!!!

Proudly sporting his '1' shirt one last time. Soon he'll be one no longer. : (

Joe thinks this pic is hilarious. It's a boy-thing. Tackeling Daddy Wyatt had to try on Daddy's "fireman boots" but once he was in them he was completly stuck because they were so heavy!!!

Wyatt's new thing is taking his own pictures... this is one of them!

Wyatt is in such a fun stage right now and I'm enjoying him more than ever! But he's also in a season that requires full-time training and correction which is an all-day endeavor! God is teaching me lots of lessons and refining my heart as I attempt to train and correct Wy guy... I'm humbled and often brought to my knees with conviction in my own heart, like when I'm telling Wyatt that God wants him to be PATIENT and self-controlled and I'm speaking to him with a completely impatient tone of voice!! : / Conviction... Ouch! And I've even had to ask for Wy's forgiveness already. I don't think he quite comprehends what he's agreeing to but he always gives Mommy a hug, so I think he's understanding more than I give him credit for!
