On Thanksgiving day we began decorating for Christmas....
These might go down as my most favorite pictures ever!!!!! 3 boys decorating the Christmas tree in their underwear--Priceless!
Wyatt and I spent Dec 1 at Crown Center celebrating Auntie B's 35th Birthday with lots of buddies! Isaac and Micah were sick so Joe had to stay back with them. Boo. But it was a perfectly beautiful night to be out on the town!!!!!
Isaac and Micah weren't so sure about getting too close to Santa this year. Wyatt just wanted to take the pic so he could move on to the train stop (his most favorite store at the mall!)!
Christmas concert at Harvest!
Constructing, decorating, and eating a gingerbread house!
Concentration.
The finished product!
Every night finishes with some wrestling!
The weekend before Christmas we went to IA to celebrate with the McCulley clan. Here's Grandma and Papa with all of their grands.
It was a perfect weekend for sledding
Wyatt's got the snowboard-cool-dude look going on here.
Isaac took a roll and wasn't too happy about being cold and wet!
One of my favorite memories of this Christmas actually happened about 3 weeks prior. Wyatt had $18 in his money jar so he agreed to split it two ways for he and Isaac to buy gifts for one another. So we loaded up and headed to Walmart--the best place to stretch the dollar, you know. Joe took Wyatt to pick a gift for Isaac and I took Isaac and Micah to pick a gift for Wyatt. Guess what they both purchased? GUNS, of course and GUM! They kept it a secret until Christmas Eve morning when they finally got to exchange...... they were more excited to GIVE the gift they had picked out for their brother than to receive. It was absolutely precious!!!!!!!!!
We went to the Christmas Eve service at our church then met Mimi and Poppy at Applebee's for dinner! On Christmas morning, we ate a yummy breakfast then Daddy read the Christmas story to our boys....
We talked about the GIFT of Jesus and the reasons for the presents under the tree....
and we began to tear into some gifts! Here's Wyatt Spiderman.
Micah got some new playdough which made him the happiest little boy alive!
Then we waited for the rest of the crew to join us for lunch and gift giving!
We had a fabulous day and topped it off with a birthday cake for Jesus!!!!!
Merry Christmas!
