We started out our fun-filled weekend on Friday with lots of cousins and lots of colors! Ashtyn, Daxton, Wyatt, Isaac, Micah, Maddie and Katie gathered 'round to dye some eggs.

Micah's ONE! Yep, today is the day. Micah got to celebrate full force with lots of people and lots of sugar! :)
After the egg hunt and a good nap we got to go swimming....
....and eat cupcakes, of course! What would a birthday be without cupcakes?
O Glorious Day, He is Alive! Because of Jesus' saving work on our behalf we have fullness of joy this day and everyday! Not only did He come to this earth to live and suffer and die to free us from our sin (as if that isn't enough to celebrate!) but He came to give us life, abundant life. So we had lots of fun dying eggs and hunting for candy-filled treasures in the grass, but we also celebrated the person of Jesus Christ who is the origin and cause and motivation and purpose and beginning and end of ALL things in this abundant life!
