Our New Home Sweet Home!

Well, all of the details have finally come together... We will be closing on our new house at the end of this month and will move in on November 1st!!!! We are sad to leave behind our first home, our fabulous church, and amazing friends, but are very excited for a new adventure in Maryland!!!

A Family Vacation...

My family was able to come visit for a whole week to spend time together before our move to DC and to do some final sight-seeing in the Windy City. We had so much FUN and it was very SAD to see the time draw to an end. Wyatt ADORES his cousins... the house has seemed a little too quiet today without the gang around. We'll be looking forward to another adventure together next year... Thanks Mom and Dad for treating us to such a fun time full of priceless memories!

A Trip to Clever, MO!

We were able to make a trip to Clever, MO to see Joe's brother, Jay, and his darling wife, Jenn. It was fun getting to tour around the cute little town of Clever and see Jay and Jenn's sweet home. We had so much fun together even though the time seemed too short. Joe got to go on a ride-along with his bro who's a cop, we all visited Bass Pro, Incredible Pizza where Wy guy got to jam with Elvis : ), Sonic (my fav!!), got to go for several walks through Jay and Jenn's neighborhood, and our favorite of all was time spend hanging out on the patio and watching a movie!!!! It was a wonderful weekend... Wyatt sure LOVES his aunt and uncle...

They are both very hands-on and defintiely fun to be around!

This is Wyatt's firts BIG boo-boo. : ( He was having a little too much fun jumping on the sofa and landed right on the coffee table edge. Aunt GG came to the rescue with a popsicle which stopped the tears fairly quickly.

Right after the boo boo incidence, we went to meet up with some friends who also live in Springfield. Wyatt and Asher were very good buddies. Lucky for us, Asher's daddy is a Doctor, so he was able to check out Wy guys head which made Mommy feel much better. Gabbi sharing a seat with Wyatt in the car on our way home.

Oh BOY...A brother is on the way!

We are very excited to have another healthy BABY BOY on the way!!!!! I'm confident that Wyatt and his lil brother are going to be best buddies for a lifetime! Mommy is praying for lots of extra energy to keep up with her fellas! : ) I sure do love my boys! Here are our baby boy's 19-week ultrasound photos from this morning. Isn't he handsome? : ) This little guy appeared to have even more energy than his big brother Wyatt...Oh Boy!!!

Fun Facts About Our 17-Month Old: WYATT...

• is a CLIMBER...He's on top of everything these days which has caused lots of crashes and resulted in many bruises but very few tears. He's a bruiser for sure.
• loves to CLEAN and HELP do everything from laundry, to washing the grapes, vacuuming, cooking... you name the chore and Wy guy is there to help and learn. He is so capable and just wants to be involved!
• has many NEW WORDS that include: mimi, mint, baby, down, and cupcake
• makes lots of ANIMAL NOISES including: cow, monkey, owl, lion, and goat
• has outgrown the highchair...We are now in a big boy booster seat for dinner.
• points to my belly and says "BABY".
• And my favorite of all... Wyatt tells mommy "Good Girl" when I give him something he wants like juice or a cupcake! : )
