He's discovered his tongue... Now it's always sticking out!!!
We often ask Wyatt, "Where's your tongue?" and he proudly shows us that he knows exactly where it is! Maybe it's not the best habit to have gotten started, but it sure is cute for now!!!

Another trip to KS!
We made another long road trip to KS! Wyatt was a very impressive little traveler... He slept the whole way there and most of the way home. Joe had some training in KC so we were able to stay at the Westin, Crown Center and have a mini-vacation together. My sister and her kids came to swim with us most days...Wyatt sure loves his cousins! We spent most of our time at the pool and did a little shopping : ) during the day before we met up with the guys and my parents each evening for dinner!!! We ended the week with an early Christmas gift from my parents... they treated us all to a little get-a-way to Coco Key--a brand new indoor water park in KC. It was a very fun way to all spend time together and make memories as a family!

A new cousin!
On July 14th, Wyatt turned 4-months-old... His "birthday gift" was a new cousin! Joe's sister, Jen, and her husband, Joel, had their first little girl, Ellie! We were excited to be able to make a trip to "the little apple", Manhattan, KS (home of the KSU Wildcats!) for the day to meet little Ellie when she was just 4-days-old! It was amazing how BIG Wyatt looked compared to his new cousin!

Secure in his boyhood!!!
Wyatt got used to taking naps on the run while we were in KS. At Grandma's, Wy had to cuddle up in cousin Ashtyn's pink and purple because Mommy forgot to pack his blankets. Daddy wasn't so sure about these sleeping arrangements : ) But, I assured him that Wyatt is still all BOY and apparently very secure in his boyhood...even in pink!!!!

Playing Hookie!
Today at work, I got a call from the daycare saying that Wyatt was not feeling well... So, Daddy rearranged his schedule in order to pick up the little guy early. Once Joe got Wy in the car, he smiled and laughed all the way home...I think our little boy got just what he wanted--an afternoon with his daddy! When I came home Wyatt was jumping and playing and jabbering... Does this little boy look sick to you?!!! I think he's got it all figured out way too early!!!

4th of July!
We had a great day splashing around in Wyatt's mini pool and celebrating Independence Day! We were supposed to spend the evening with friends, but our little firecracker gave us a scare with some kind of bug, so we ended up spending part of the evening at the Urgent Care clinic. Li'l Wy was smiling all the while even though his tummy must have hurt. So much for watching the fireworks... Our little buddy was fast asleep before they started!
